Rigid Strander with Individual Drive
The individual drive rigid strander is designed for the non-back-twist stranding of copper conductors, aluminum conductors, and aluminum conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) products. It can also be used for stranding insulated wires and conductor strands. When equipped with a compacting device, the stranding machine is capable of producing round, semi-round, and sector-shaped compacted copper and aluminum conductors for a wide range of power cable applications.

Features
- Each stranding cage and the capstan system are driven by independent motors, allowing individual speed adjustment for improved process control. The stranding cages are driven through synchronous belt transmission.
- Compatible with PND630 and PND710 reels, the stranding machine is equipped with an integrated side-loading reel handling system for convenient loading and unloading operations.
- Reels are evenly distributed around the stranding cage in four sections, providing easy access during reel changes. The rigid machine structure supports stable operation and high production speeds.
- Tension control inside the stranding cage combines mechanical, pneumatic (proportional valve), and ultrasonic control methods to maintain consistent strand quality throughout production.
- Equipped with a dual active strand separating and capstan system, reducing the risk of conductor surface damage during the stranding process.
- A wire break detection system automatically stops the machine immediately when a wire break occurs, helping protect product quality and minimize downtime.
- The strander adopts a fully digital DC speed control system and PLC-based intelligent control platform. Production data, operating status, measurements, alarms, and fault information are displayed through a user-friendly HMI for monitoring and management.
