The rigid stranding machine is designed for the non-back-twist stranding of copper conductors, aluminum conductors, and aluminum conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) products. It can also be used for the stranding of insulated conductors, conductor strands, and shaped wires, which is suitable for a wide range of conductor manufacturing applications.

Features
  • When equipped with a compacting unit, the stranding machine can produce round, semi-round, and sector-shaped compacted copper and aluminum conductors.
  • Available with single-reel loading or side-loading integrated reel handling systems, the rigid strander is compatible with PND500, PND630, and PND710 reels.
  • Reels are evenly arranged around the stranding cage in four sections, providing a rigid structure, reliable performance, and high operating speeds.
  • Equipped with a 36-step capstan gearbox and a dual active natural strand separating capstan system, reducing the risk of conductor surface damage during the stranding process.
  • Tension control inside the stranding cage can be configured with either a mechanical system or a combined mechanical, pneumatic (proportional valve), and ultrasonic control system to maintain stable strand quality.
  • A wire break detection system automatically stops the machine immediately when a wire break occurs, helping protect product quality and reduce downtime.
  • The rigid stranding machine adopts a fully digital DC speed control system and a PLC-based intelligent control platform. Measurement data, operating status, alarms, and fault information are displayed through the HMI for convenient monitoring and operation.
